Company visit to AGTOS: Mayor Oliver Kellner in dialogue November 2024

It is important to Oliver Kellner to talk to local companies about their economic situation in order to find out more about the challenges and successes of Emsdetten businesses. The mayor also used the appointment to present the current topics of the city administration and the projects of the Service Center for Business to the two managing directors Andreas Bügener and Antonius Heitmann as well as Ulf Kapitza, Head of Business Development and Marketing. These included regional planning, property tax reform, the budget situation in Emsdetten and the results of the business survey.

The company representatives primarily reported on the current challenges in recruiting personnel. A review of the well-attended Machertag (ToW) was also part of the meeting.

After the meeting, Andreas Bügener and Ulf Kapitza gave a tour of the company's warehouse at its headquarters in Emsdetten and demonstrated the various machines. Oliver Kellner expressed his thanks for the open dialogue, the valuable suggestions and the exciting insights into the company. 

Founded in Emsdetten in 2001, AGTOS GmbH employs more than 80 people in Emsdetten, totalling 160 employees. The specialist in the design and manufacture of shot-blast machines as well as the construction and production of customised special solutions can reflect on strong growth since its foundation in 2001.
